Origins
Elyte is the result of over 40 years of innovation in steam press technology. It began in Athens in 1982, when Spilios Papapanagiotou founded SPK with a single goal: to bring the efficiency and comfort of Swiss innovation into the home. What started as a personal solution soon grew into a company that helped redefine ironing across Southern Europe.
Heritage
SPK’s legacy is rooted in family. Today, the founder’s sons, Thanos and Leonidas Papapanagiotou, continue his mission with the same values of integrity, care, and purpose. Their leadership has made SPK one of the most respected names in steam press and home appliance innovation across Europe and beyond.
